<p>The method comprises the steps, in a single process flow and using an automated control system (ACS) of : performing the receiving inspection, diagnostic, and classification of pipes breaking out, and strickling the pipes recording the receiving inspection result into the ACS database sorting and distributing pipes for further treatment, performing an ultrasonic treatment, hydrotesting, and drying the pipes; performing an outgoing multi-parameter inspection of threaded pipe sections wherein the receiving and outgoing inspection of the threaded sections are performed at the stage of the ultrasonic treatment by using, as measuring gauge, an ultrasonic tool, and estimating the parameter "depth of thread engagement" as the difference between the aggregated factors "plain gauge tightness" and "thread gauge tightness" and, based there on determining the repairability of this threaded section, and, in case, performing the ultrasonic treatment. Equipment for implementing this method is also described.</p> |
