<p>The bolt (6) consists of a flat circular head (8) with a cylindrical spigot (11) below. The bolt shank (7) is approximately one half the diameter of the spigot (11) and is eccentric to it. The bolt may be used to fix a metal hinge or strap (5) to timber components (1,4). The hole (12) in the metal strip is sized to accept the spigot and the hole (13) in the timber components is sized to accept the shank. The bolt is self locking when inserted.</p> |
