A Fomitopsis pinicola Eugene 623-B is provided to decrease the activity of reactive oxygen generation enzyme, increase the activity of reactive oxygen scavenging enzyme and show excellent inhibitory effect on reactive oxygen caused by diabetes, thereby being widely utilized to prepare a functional food including Fomitopsis pinicola. A Fomitopsis pinicola Eugene 623-B showing excellent function of decreasing the activity of reactive oxygen generation enzyme and increasing the activity of reactive oxygen scavenging enzyme is deposited as a deposition no. KACC 93041P, wherein the reactive oxygen generation enzyme is xanthine oxidase(XOD), the reactive oxygen scavenging enzyme is superoxide dismutase(SOD) and glutathione peroxidase(GPX) and the Fomitopsis pinicola Eugene 623-B is prepared by mutating Fomitopsis pinicola by treating it with 0.3% MS(ethylmethanesulfonate).
