PURPOSE:To eliminate the occurrence of aerial discharge while the velocity of an air flow with mixed toner is suppressed below a certain amount, by providing vertical barriers at prescribed intervals to a group of electric field curtain electrodes for stopping the passage of electrified particles where electrode wires for AC high voltage application and earth electrode wires are provided alternately in parallel. CONSTITUTION:A cleaning station 10 is provided with a cleaning brush storage part 11, a dust roll storage part 12, a conveying-auger storage part 13, and a filter equipment part 14, and a conveyance path 14' for air is formed extending from the exit side of the storage part 12 to a filter member 7; and an electric field curtain electrode group 8 is provided, and a toner storage part 9 is arranged right under it. In the electric field curtain electrode group 8, an AC voltage is applied between adjacent electrodes among parallel linear electrodes 15 and 16. Then, the linear electrodes 15 and 16 are provided with barriers A like insulating sheets 17 at intervals of 4-7 electrodes. |
