PURPOSE:To achieve a magnetic head core excellent in shock resistance, wear resistance and magnetic characteristic, by laminating a plurality of amorphous magnetic alloy strips, inserting a glass rod between strips, and bonding each strip through heating and melting. CONSTITUTION:A plurality of continuous amorphous magnetic alloy strips 20 are laminated, they are clipped with left and right press molds 21 and 22, and a glass rod 23 is inserted between each strip 20. Next, the glass rod is melted in a heating furnace and the molten glass is infiltrated to fine gaps between the strips 20 with gravity or surface tension. After cooling and solidifying the glass, the glass is cut off as shown in one-dot chain lines X to obtain an objective magnetic head core. Thus, glass having mechanical properties similar to those of amorphous magnetic alloy is used as an adhesives, the lowering in shock resistance can be prevented. |
