PURPOSE:To rationalize totalizing, by inserting a separate document in the totalizing unit of the document to be read in advance and making batch processing every time it is detected. CONSTITUTION:Cards 3 on which data are recorded are piled up into one stack in the form that a separator card 19 is inserted between batches 2 by money collectors and they are deposited in a card inlet at a bundle. A device 1 drives a read circuit 9, reads the cards 3 one by one, DATA are recorded in a data buffer 10. The content of the data buffer 10 is copied in a comparison buffer 12. The content of the data buffer 10 is sequentially recorded in a money collector memory 13 and when read for one money collectors's share is finished, an output EDTA of a comparison data memory 16 and an output of the separator card are compared at a collation circuit 15, and when coincident, the buffer 12 is cleared and the memory 13 outputs the data for one batch's share to a totalizing processing circuit 11 and a read memory 17. |
