PURPOSE:To edit without erroneous coding, by pre-storaging PCM signals and controlling the coordinate run of the 1st and 2nd VTRs in recording a PCM signal reproduced from the 1st VTR to the 2nd VTR recorded with other PCM signal. CONSTITUTION:A VTR1 reproduces a master tape and a VTR2 records it on an editing tape. As to the editing tape, editing points F0 are decided and as to the master tape, editing points FI are determined. Reproducing data of the VTRs 1 and 2 are written in RAMs 17a and b. The VTRs 1 and 2 are controlled for the run with a control circuit 18 from time codes read in the VTRs 1 and 2. In this case, the VTRs 1 and 2 are in repdocucing state and next, the VTR2 is in recording state, a RAM17a and an RAM17b are read and cross fader processing 25 is made for recording. In this case, the repdocuing signa of the VTR1 is written in an RAM17c. Thus, PCM signals the restricting length of which are not complted in a block can be edited without code error by sequential switching operation. |
