A fluid flow meter (10), including a displacement member (40) removably mounted in a conduit (20) and a pipe extending through the wall of the conduit and having a portion extending through the displacement member to its downstream face for sensing flow conditions at the axis of the conduit downstream of the displacement member. The displacement member is removable and replaceably mounted so that one member can be replaced by another and thereby accommodate a very broad range of flows.
