PURPOSE:To add an electronic tuning radio receiver without mounting of an additional boosting circuit, by a method wherein the boosting circuit, actuating a liquid crystal display, is combined with a power source for driving a variable capacity diode of a turing function consists. CONSTITUTION:Using a clock signal obtained from a dividing circuit 3, a boosting circuit 7 boosts a power source voltage. The boosted voltage is applied to a voltage control circuit 8 controlling a voltage applied to a display 6 of a timepiece, employing a phase transfer type liquid crystal, and to a variable capacity diode contained in a converter circuit 10 of a radio receiver. |
