<p>A piston with an outlet tube for a reactive titrant is used to introduce a specimen into a recipient containing a liquid or filtration. The resultant electrochemical reaction causes a potential difference at the electrodes. The p d is amplified and the amplifier output is applied to an acquisition system. This system also receives a voltage proportional to the burette output. A keyboard, connected to a memory to which the data from the acquisition system, is applied enables an operator to insert a value for comparison purposes. A speed servo system derives an output from the amplifier to control the speed of operation of the piston in the burette to achieve a given flow.</p> |
