<p>An electrophotographic copying machine comprises a photosensitive drum (19) for forming an electrostatic latent image, a developing unit (23) for developing the latent image to a toner image, a transfer unit (25) for transferring the toner image to a sheet of copy paper (47) supplied from a paper supply unit (41), a fixing unit (81) for heating the copy paper with the toner image transferred to it to fix the toner image, and a discharge roller (93) for discharging the copy paper with the toner image fixed to it out from the machine body (1). A copy paper conveying passage from the paper supply unit (41) to the paper discharge unit (93) is divided by two assembly units (79, 97), which are telescopically constructed in a direction extending toward the exterior of the machine body (1) from the prescribed mounting position parallel to the paper conveying direction.</p> |
