PURPOSE:To ensure the synchronization of conveyors arranged in series safely by driving them synchronously only when the phase difference between a synchronizing transmitter and receiver equipped on them is 360 deg.. CONSTITUTION:A main and an auxiliary conveyor 1 and 4 provided with pushers 7 are equipped with signal caterpillars 2 and 5, which are connected with a synchronizing transmitter 3 and receiver 6 in linkage. Besides, a receiver 18 is provided to keep the lead of phase by 90 deg. to the receiver 6. Outputs 12 and 19 from both receivers 6 and 18 are inputted into phase discriminators 20 and 21 for outputting a synchronization check signal 25. For example, for restarting the main conveyor 1 after it is stopped by some accident, the conveyor 4 is stopped at the time point when the signal 25 is inputted into a control means 15, and both conveyors are started after a fixed time of the stoppage. Thereby, both conveyors can be driven synchronously. |
