The invention relates to a corner connection for flat parts, preferably for furniture produced without assembly. The object of the invention is to create a connection for flat furniture parts, while avoiding double-walled construction, which is quick, simple and reliable, the furniture parts being capable of being assembled without increased cost and without special craft skills. The object of the invention is to design the corner connection such that a largely invisible corner connection is possible which can be assembled quickly and is extremely stable. This object is achieved according to the invention in that corner connections in the form of two halved dowels which rest on one another, are connected detachably or non-detachably in each case to the rear side in milled depressions in the narrow surfaces of two bases or of one base and a terminating strip, and the parts of the corner connection overhanging the bases and the terminating strip are inserted into holes in the narrow surface of the side wall.
