PURPOSE:To measure the temperature with use of a timepiece function without using any addititional circuit, by converting the difference between the oscillating frequency of a reference frequency generator and that of a temperature sensor of solid-state oscillator type into the value which indicates the temperature. CONSTITUTION:The clock signal oscillated at a reference clock oscillating part CG1 is divided at a dividing part DV, and the system clock phi and the 1sec signal S are delivered to a control part CPU. The CPU works as a timepiece by the above-mentioned signals. The oscillating frequency given from a temperature detecting oscillating part CG2 which varies by the temperature oscillates a signal of 32kHz at a reference temperature for example with a change of 5Hz caused per deg.C. If the part CG1 has oscillation with 32kHz, the differential frequency signal (p) is delivered from a frequency converting part MX. The CPU detects the frequency of the signal (p) and converts it into a value of temperature. |
