PURPOSE:To reduce piston rod slide resistance as well as to obtain sufficient dust preventive effect by giving a piston rod necessary but minimum tightening force by making a dust seal thin in shape. CONSTITUTION:A dust seal 14 of a hydraulic cylinder 8 for tilting a cab is formed thin in shape an given small tightening margin to a piston rod 12, and its tightening force is set to between 1.0 and 3.0kg. Accordingly, while a car is running with the cab not tilted, although the piston rod 12 makes reciprocating motion to the cylinder 8 due to the vibration of the cab 2, the slide resistance in way of the dust seal 14 becomes remarkably small in comparison with the conventional one. Thus, the piston 12 can operate light, low-strained motion without losing cushion effect by cab suspension springs 5, guaranteeing comfortable riding. |
