PURPOSE:To prevent the lowering of detecting accuracy due to the disturbance and to ensure the prescribed automatic control with high accuracy, by converting a phase difference pulse into a reference pulse signal quantity and measuring the signal quantity. CONSTITUTION:A device 44 produces the pulse signal P1 according to the rotation of a rotor 38 at the driving side; a device 47 produces the pulse signal P2 according to the rotation of a rotor 36 at the side to be driven; and a device 48 produces the phase different pulse signal P3 having a duration corresponding to the phase difference between the pulses P1 and P2. The driving torque of the rotor 36 caused by the rotor 38 is detected based on the signal P3. In this case, a device 49 is added to produce the reference pulse signal P4 of a certain frequency, along with a device 51 which measures the number of the signals P4 produced from the device 49 within the total time during which the device 48 produces the signal P3 in the set time T. Then the number of signals P4 measured by the device 51 is detected. |
