The invention refers to a device for regulating the fuel supply to an internal combustion motor, where the amount of fuel is made to vary via a regulator device in the form of a throttle control via a cable. The purpose of the invention is to produce a method and an aid which indirectly contributes to a fuel-conserving method of driving the motor vehicle through counteracting fast and heavy increases in the supply of fuel. This is achieved by means of a method and a device where the power for returning the gas throttle control during a first phase (x1) of increase fuel supply increases proportionally against increased fuel supply and during a second phase (x2) increases exponentially against increased fuel supply, e.g. for increase fuel supply after the first phase (x1) a marked increase in power is required for each further increase in the amount of fuel. The device is equipped with a power return mechanism (5, 6, 7) in the form of a spring device with gradually varying suspension characteristics.<IMAGE> |
