The invention relates to a cleaning device for the discharge cleaning of the delivery line of a concrete pump, said cleaning device being installed directly downstream of the pump, between the latter and the delivery line leading on to the distribution point. The aim of this is first to discharge towards the installation point that branch of the delivery line which is to be blocked against return flow at the installation point or from the distribution pole, and in a second step to return the contents of the shorter branch of the delivery line into the feed tank for the pump. This object is achieved by a device similar to a pivot-tube deflector, this device having a connector which can be pivoted onto the delivery line to the installation point and is intended to receive the cleaning sponge (A) and for the arrangement of a pressure-medium connection. This branch of the delivery line is discharged by the pressure medium in conjunction with the cleaning sponge (A) when the pump is shut down. After this branch is discharged, the device is pivoted back to the normal delivery position again and a cleaning sponge (B) is introduced into the discharged line via suitable connections. By suction operation of the pump, the cleaning sponge (B) together with the residual content of this shorter branch of the delivery line is sucked back into the feed tank. <IMAGE>
