The apparatus according to the invention possesses a restoring mechanism for restoring the functions of the ankle joint and, according to the invention, it comprises a deformity eliminating mechanism for eliminating foot deformities, the latter mechanism including extension arms (41, 42) rigidly connected to the ends of the axial bracket (1) of the mechanism for restoring the functions of the ankle joint with rods (45) fixed therein on which L-shaped pivoting pieces (46) are mounted in order to permit pivoting. One set of arms of the pivoting pieces (46) is connected to the ends of the closure bracket (4) of the mechanism for restoring the functions of the ankle joint, the bracket being fastened on the metatarsal bones (6), while a spoke (53), which is passed through the heel-bone (54) of the foot, is fixed to the other set of arms of the pivoting pieces (46). The apparatus according to the invention can be used very successfully for eliminating foot excavation and for treatment of varus and valgus deformities of the foot. <IMAGE>
