This fuel consumption display device for motor vehicles has, according to Figure 1, throttle points (1.6, 1.7) in the fuel line (1.3), between which throttle points (1.6, 1.7) a pressure measuring device (1.8) is arranged. The throttle points (1.6, 1.7) influence the pressure in the line (1.3) and thus the pressure in the pressure measuring device (1.8), designed as a consumption display device, in the same way. The pressure between the throttle points (1.6, 1.7) is a measure of the travel-related consumption. <IMAGE>
