A street light apparatus is provided to maximize a lighting effect even at a height lower than a general roadside tree by sufficiently extending diffusion of light through a lens formed on a front surface of a body. A street light apparatus includes a body(10) and a lamp(14). The body having a convex lens(20) formed in an inner side of a front surface thereof and a cover(30) formed on a rear surface is installed in a street lamp pole(40) having a height of 3 to 5 m. The lamp is installed in the body through a socket(16) formed in a lower part thereof. An upper hinge(34) and a lower clip(36) are used to open and close the cover. A reflection plate(38) is installed in an inner center of the cover to cover the lamp in the socket from a rear part by a predetermined interval. |
