In the case of small shopping trolleys, there is the problem of safely transporting a child in the child seat. The present invention describes a nesting shopping trolley (1) with a child seat arrangement (2), in which a gap is left in the flap (11) in its upper region and the said flap is mounted in an articulated manner on pivot stubs (9') arranged on both sides of the basket (4). This makes it possible to place the sitting panel (16) lower, which leads to an increase in the stability of the shopping trolley (1) when a child is being conveyed in the child seat arrangement (2).
