<p>An improved indirect, drain-back, solar water heating system of the type wherein a heat transfer fluid (16) is circulated by a pump (26) from a heat exchanger (12, 14), where the fluid is cooled, to a heat collector (10), where the fluid is heated, and back to the heat exchanger, wherein the improvement includes a sealed, annular jacket (14), heat exchanger, and a venting structure (27, 40, 46) coupled to a hot water storage tank (12) which permits transfer fluid to drain back from the heat collector when the pump is unenergized.</p> |
