<p>Process for separating the layers of a layered planar structure, in particular of a textile floor covering, for example a tufted carpet, a needle-punched carpet and the like, in which the individual layers or the components forming the layers are mechanically separated and led away and collected separately. For the separation, band knife splitting machines, which are known per se, may be used in particular. In the case of carpets, the separation of the pile layer may also be carried out by shearing. The process permits the materials of the components forming the individual layers to be separated, in a simple manner, in the essentially uncontaminated and undamaged state, by means of which they can generally be passed on for reclamation or reuse without further pretreatment.</p> |
