<p>A method of controlling a technological process comprises measuring the quality index of the control and gradual change of the parameter of an automatic regulator (4) so as to ensure the extreme value of the quality index of the control which would correspond to the best quality of the control. If the deviation of the quality index of the control from the recorded extreme value of that index exceeds a preset value whereas the parameter of the regulator (4) is changing in the direction of decrease of stability margin of the system of automatic regulation, and whereas the quality index of control is changing in the direction of increase of the quality of control, then, at the moment the parameter reaches a preset value it is abruptly changed first up to a value which corresponds to an unstable state of the system and after that it is abruptly changed up to the value which corresponds to the stable state of the system, after which the parameter is further changed gradually in the direction of decrease of stability margin of the system up to the moment where either the quality index of the control changes the direction of its change or the parameter again reaches the said fixed value. A device for automatic control of a technological process comprises an automatic regulator (4), a controlled memory (8) connected to the output of a device (6) for forming a signal corresponding to the quality index of control and further comprises a device (12) for controlling the parameter of the regulator (4), that device (12) being connected to a circuit (10) sensitive to the change of direction of change of the parameter of the regulator (4). The device for automatic control comprises as well a control circuit (11) which changes the working regime of the device (12) for controlling the parameter in case of a significant deviation of the instant value of the control index from its extreme value recorded in the memory (8), that change of the working regime being done upon a signal received from the control circuit (11). The invention can be used in systems for the automatic control of output parameters of technological processes carried out under changing conditions.</p> |
