PURPOSE:To enable to control each operation of thawing, heating, scorching, fermenting, and boiling, in response to the output from a detecting element (heat rays receptive element), in a heating cooker which can automatically control cooking by heating, by detecting the change of reflectance in heat rays on the surface of a heated food during its cooking. CONSTITUTION:The titled heating cooker is provided with a high-frequency, energy generating source 5, as well as with electric heaters 4a-4d, in the ceiling and the bottom parts of a heating chamber 1. In addition, a heat rays receptive element 16 which receives the rays being irradiated from a source of heat rays 8 and being reflected from a food 3 is also provided to the cooker, in order to control scorching or the like to the food. In this case, the increase, the decrease, or a sudden fluctuation of heat rays reflected from the food 3 is detected by putting the output signal from a rays receptive element 16 into a controller 35. Based on the detected result, electric heaters 4a-4d, the high-frequency energy generating source 5, a fan 27, and the others are controlled to control thawing, heating, scorching, furmenting, and boiling operations, respectively. |
