A wind power plant comprises a blade-like body, against which the wind can blow, with at least one sharp edge obliquely adjustable with respect to the wind, around which a pressure equalisation, which forms a vortex, occurs, and with at least one rotor arranged behind the leading edge in the direction of flow and serving for drive purposes, the axis of which rotor lies in the area of the respective vortex core. In order to ensure that the wind power plant remains as unaffected as possible by negative environmental factors and to guarantee good stability of the vortex driving the rotors in the constantly changing wind conditions, the body (2) against which the wind blows is so designed that the windward side lies at the top and the rotors (10) are arranged below the body (2). The body (2) against which the wind blows preferably comprises two half-delta blades (6) inclined towards one another, the common tip (8) of which is aligned sloping downwards into the wind. <IMAGE>
