A structure (10) including vibrators (44) for the unloading of railroad hopper cars (16) and similar dump loading rail cars. Vibrators (44) are positioned to introduce vibrational energy directly to foundation plates (20, 22) which in turn transmit energy to tracks (26) and thus to the cars (16) themselves. The structure (10) utilizes isolation devices (48) which prevent the transmission of the vibrational energy to supporting trestle (14) thereby preventing damage. |
