The invention concerns a powdered pigment composition comprising (a) from 70 to 99% by weight of pigment, (b) from 1 to 30% by weight of an organophilic agent (an organic composition which is immiscible with water and does not readily form emulsions with water), and (c) from 0.5 to 10% by weight of water. The pigment composition of the invention shows a significantly improved dispersibility in comparison to prior art powdered pigment compositions. The invention further provides a process for the preparation of the pigment composition of the invention. |
