PURPOSE:To print a continuous ruled line, by adding a print mask controlling circuit and masking partially the font of the print by the degree of designation given from outside. CONSTITUTION:The shift signal of a printer head 1 controlled by a control circuit 2 plus the print data signal corresponding to a wire head pin are led to a head driving circuit 3 to drive a coil within the head 1 and to carry out printing. When the printing is over, the print paper is fed out of a paper feed driving circuit 4 by the signal of the circuit 2 and by an extent including a certain line space. The characters ''a'', ''1 (vertical line)'' and ''b'' are printed, and the paper is fed by m1 dot. After this, the areas are masked by a print mask controlling circuit 5 excepting the font that can be printed within a line space P, and the printing is carried out with a font equal to the vertical line 1 between the ''a'' and ''b''. Then the paper is fed by m2 dots to carry out the printing of characters ''c'', ''1 (vertical line)'' and ''d'' in the same way as the printing the ''a'', ''1'' and ''b''. |
