PURPOSE:To produce thin-walled can bodies stably at a high speed by holding the thin-walled unwelded can which is formed round and is fed into this device at a high speed elastically with only the guide rollers small in weights, and easing the impulsive effect that the can body receives owing to differences in inertia. CONSTITUTION:An unwelded can 1 fed into this device under oscillation dashes intensively against guide rollers 3-7, and force expands these. The can itself is going to be deformed by reaction but the oscillation forces are absorbed by the turning of brackets 8, 9 and the can assumes an intended shape. More specifically, the brackets 8, 9 have the own weights several times larger than the own weight of the can 1, and further there is springs 13; therefore, the can 1 fed into the device at a high speed dashes intensively against the rollers 3-7 and receives the effect of bouncing. However, the can 1 remains without bouncing off because the shafts of the rollers 3-7 are elastically supported by rubber bushings 16. |
