PURPOSE:To generate heat effectively by tightening and covering a heat generating type semiconductor and electrodes that supply electric power to this as well as an ironing member to one body by means of cylindrical bodies and reducing the diameter thereby increasing the contact density between the semiconductor and the electrode. CONSTITUTION:A semiconductor 10 of a PTC thermistor is formed to a sheet of a rectangular parallelopiped, and electrodes 11 with lead wires are disposed on both side surfaces of the largest area thereof in press contact therewith. Film-like mica 12 are integrally covered on the semiconductor 10 and the electrodes 11, and further a polyimide film 13 is wound cylindrically thereon. One end thereof is heat sealed, whereby these are covered. The semiconductor 10 and the electrodes 11 covered and insulated in this way are press fitted and detained into the detaining part of a member 14 and the entire part is covered with a mica sheet 15 in one body, whereby these are formed to a cylindrical shape. This is fitted to a cylindrical body 16 in such a way that the tip of the iron exposes through the opening part thereof and the part contg. the member 14 of the member 16 is reduced of diameter with a drawing mill, whereby all the members are press stuck and fixed. |
