PURPOSE:To prevent the breakage of the film of a rising and falling dam by providing an abrasion preventor to form a gentle slope in the flow direction of water in the stepped portion between the upside of the film near the folded end portion of the dam when being fallen and the concrete face of the river bed in the folded end portion. CONSTITUTION:An abrasion preventing plate 6 to form a gentle slope in the flow direction of water when a dam is fallen is provided near the folded end portion 4 of the film 2 of the dam in order to make the flow rate of water faster. By this, the occurrence of vortex flow of water can be prevented and abrasion damage to the film of the folded end portion of the dam can therefore be prevented. |
