PURPOSE:To enable to utilize the stable solar heat by a method wherein a heat accumulating device, capable of depositing a heat energy for a long period, is arranged in series of a solar heat collector. CONSTITUTION:A long period heat accumulating device 3 is connected immediately after the solar heat collector 2 and a high temperature heat accumulating tank 4, an absorption refrigerator 5, a low temperature heat accumulating tank 6 and a heat load 7 are connected thereafter. The long period heat accumulating device 3 is consisting of a heat accumulating tank unit 8, filled with a hydrogenated metallic substance, a hydrogen depositing tank unit 10 and a valve 9 communicating both of them and when the heat energy demand of the heat load 7 for room cooling or heating is small, such as in spring or autumn, the hydrogenated metallic substance in the heat accumulating tank unit 8 is heated and produces hydrogen and opens the valve 9 once the pressure of the hydrogen gas becomes higher than the same of the hydrogen depositing tank unit 10, thereby depositing the heat energy within the hydrogen depositing tank unit 10 assuming the form of hydrogen gas. When the room cooling or heating is to be effected such as in summer or is winter, the valve 9 is opened if the pressure of the hydrogen gas in the heat accumulating tank 8 is lower than the hydrogen reserving tank unit 10 by a predetermined pressure and the heat energy may be utilized. |
