PURPOSE:To achieve energy-saving and safe operation of a hot-water supplying apparatus, by stopping combustion a predetermined time later after stopping of hot-water supply by use of a timer which is rest at the time of starting supply of hot water. CONSTITUTION:When supply of hot water is detected by a hot-water supply detecting means 8 which detects supply of hot water from water flow. The means 8 gives an ON-signal to a controller 10, whereupon a timer T in the controller 10 is reset. Subsequently, when supply of hot water is stopped, the means 8 gives an OFF-signal to the controller 10 and sets the timer T into operation. Here, if the signal produced by the means 8 is OFF continuously for a predetermined while (2hr, in this case) after stopping of hot-water supply, a control signal is produced for stopping combustion by closing a control valve 5 of a burner 2. Further, when supply of hot water is recommenced, the timer T is reset by the ON-signal produced by detecting means 8. |
