PURPOSE:To prevent the deterioration of the production yield, by setting the moving time to be required when bending a linear bulb into a circle through a molding roller in the specific range thereby completely eliminating the supporting miss of the lower end of the bulb through a pin. CONSTITUTION:The upper end of a linear bulb is secured at the stopping position (I) of a moving member A which rotates intermittently, and gradually softened thermally when passing through a heating furnace D. Then the bulb is transferred from position (II) to position (III) and passes through an electric oven E while being supported by a pin and bent into a circle by a molding roller G at the position (IV). The time required for the movement of 1 position of the moving member A (Moving time) is not to 1.5-2.1sec when bending the linear bulb into FCL32 while 1.6-2.3sec for FCL40.
