FIELD: physics, communication. ^ SUBSTANCE: invention relates to systems of data transfer over digital communication channels. For voice-signal compression and restoration purposes, prior to transmitting and receiving, F>1 of casual square matrixes made up of mxm elements with their magnitudes belonging in the voce signal discrete quantized count-down range are generated along with G>1 of casual key matrixes in with Nxm and mxN individual and zero elements. Two matrixes of the accepted code groups with the m2rxm1r individual and zero elements, where r=1, 2, are formed. Then, initial matrix made up of NxN elements is formed from one-size analog voice signal and transformed into digital form. Note here that rectangular matrixes made up of Nxm, mxN elements and vector of M single and zero elements making a digital representation of aforesaid initial matrix, are formed from the elements of lines of accepted code group matrixes. Further on, the elements of aforesaid matrixes and vector are transmitted via a digital communication channel. On the reception side, errors revealed in received rectangular matrixes and vector are corrected and voice signal is reconstructed. The proposed method way especially suitable in voice signal transmission via digital communication channel at the rate of 8 to 16 kb/s. ^ EFFECT: improved quality of restoring voice messages, correction of errors originating in transmitted digital sequences due to transmission channel instability which allows phone conversations over low-speed digital communication channels. ^ 6 cl, 9 dwg |
