Composition comprises: at least an elastomer dispersion in an aqueous solvent; elastomer (5-100 wt.%) of hydrophilic compound partially or completely pre-crosslinked, comprising cellulose and its derivatives, polyvinyl alcohol, hydrophilic aqueous polyurethane, superabsorbent polymers; hydrophilic compound (2-50 wt.%) of crosslinking agent; and optionally a catalyst. An independent claim is included for a process for preparing an article, comprising applying at least a layer of a composition on a mold, followed by drying.
