PURPOSE:To raise the efficiency of operation for proofreading by using a system in which a displaying line feed code-inserted typescript data is housed, the data are read out and displayed on a display screen, and each line on the display screen is made to coincide with each line on a printing paper on the basis of a typesetting data. CONSTITUTION:A typescript line-related processing part 37 inserts a displaying line feed code, a stage changing code and a displaying line feed code, or a page changing code and a displaying line feed code into the part of the typescript data corresponding to the ends of each line for a typesetting data. The typescript data inserted with the displaying line feed code is housed in a typescript data housing part 33 by a typesetting command processing part 35. A proifreading command processing part 38 performs a treatment shown by a command decoding data housed in a command decoding data housing part 31, whereby the typescript data inserted with the displaying line feed code is read out of the housing part 33 and displayed on a CRT monitor 1. |
