The device (1) has a displaceable foot bridge (10) that is displaceable vertically between lowered and raised positions. Docks (2, 3) of a milking parlor (4) are connected together by the bridge in the lowered position to permit passage of an animal from one dock to another dock avoiding a treating person to cross an interval (6). The docks are separated in the raised position so that the animals cannot pass from the former dock to the latter dock, and the person passes the interval.
