发明名称 HEAD FEEDING MECHANISM FOR PRINTER
摘要 PURPOSE:To shorten a time, accepted in an inbound path, without enlarging of a device, and to increase the number of printing lines per unit time, by a method wherein, in a head feeding mechanism employing a cylindrical cam, the number of rotations of a cam, involved in an outbound path, is set so as to be larger than the number of rotations involved in an inbound path. CONSTITUTION:A hook part 12 of a cam follower 11, rotably attached to a holding member 7 of a printing head 6, engages a cam recess 10 in a cylindrical cam 9, and a printing head 6 performs a reciprocating movement along a guide shaft 8 through rotation of the cylindrical cam 9. Then, the cam lead of the cam recess 10 is set so as to form an accelerating and decelerating section 13 of an outbound path, an equal speed section 14 of an outbound path (at a printing time), and an accelerating and decelerating section 15 of an inbound path, and the number of rotations, invloced in the outbound path, is set so as to be larger than the number of revolutions involved in the inbound path. Additionally, the hook part 12 is formed so that a rotary movement in the cam recess 10 is regulated, and the cam follower at the cross part of the cam recess 10 always advances in a specified direction.
