PURPOSE:To ensure safety running operation of a vehicle, by providing a correctively controlling means, in which a fuel feed device is detected its fault to obtain a normal fuel feed amount, and maintaining an engine to its good performance even at a fault state. CONSTITUTION:At normal operation of two fuel feed devices, fuel pressure of fuel passages 10A, 10B is at least a set value, and comparators 12A, 12B are turned off by outputs of pressure sensors 11A, 11B. Further comparators 15A, 15B are also turned off by normal operation of fuel injection valves 2A, 2B on the basis of signals from two pulse width detectors 13A, 13B and 14A, 14B. On the other hand, if the fuel feed device at a side of, for instance, the passage 10A causes a trouble, the comparators 12A and 15A are both turned on to turn on an OR circuit 7A. Then a correction arithmetic unit 6A in a control unit 3 ceases its output, and another correction arithmetic unit 6B outputs a control pulse with a double length on-time, in this way, a fuel amount almost equal to at normal time can be ensured only by the injection valve 2B. |
