PURPOSE:To allow plural terminals to use the subscriber circuit of a packet switchboard on multiplex basis by providing a time-division packet transformer multiplexer which performs multiplex conversion between time-division multiplexing and packet multiplexing mutually between the packet switchboard and a time-division multiple circuit. CONSTITUTION:A multiple circuit 151 in a PCM group of degree 1 is separated by D1 type multiplexer 101 into multiple circuits 152 in a PCM group of degree 0 having CCITT counsel X50 frame constitution. Those multiple circuits 152 are connected to a time-division packet transformer multiplexer 201, and when a terminal position is recognized by distance (n) from the frame bit FB position of the X50 frame constitution and the assembly of the frame or packet of every terminal is completed, the frame or packet 602 is sent to a packet multiple circuit 251. In this case, a packet 601 including the distance (n) is generated and sent out right before said operation. On receiving packets 601 and 602, a packet switchboard 180 recognizes a terminal from terminal position information and then sends the packets by generating an innetwork header to be sent to an address which corresponds to the terminal. |
