PURPOSE:To obtain a recording picture of a high quality through fractionizing of density unevenness due to that environment is brought to a low humidity, by a method wherein an electrode needle of an electrostatic recording head is divided into a plural number of groups, a recording scanning is conducted in 2 stages, and a comb-shaped recording is made by one-time scanning. CONSTITUTION:Each of recording electrode needle groups B1, B2... is divided into 4 groups g1-g4 consisting of a plural number of adjoining electrode needles 2, and 2 groups of g1 and g3 and 2 groups of g2 and g4, which are not adjacent to each other, further form second groups G1 and G2, respectively. In recording, when a control voltage is applied to CPK and CPK+1 of a control electrode 3, a recording electrode voltage -VN, simultaneously, is applied to either of the second groups G1 and G2 of the electrode needles 2 corresponding to a recording signal, and is then applied to the other groups G1 and G2. Or, in a first stage recording scanning, a recording for 1/2 line of a main scanning is performed in a comb-shape, and in a second stage recording scanning, a recording for remaining 1/2 line is made. |
