PURPOSE:To reduce instantaneous voltage, and to miniaturize and lighten a power supply by delaying one part of a plurality of recorded informations and inputting it to a drive section in the pressure pulse type ink jet recorder with multi-nozzles. CONSTITUTION:When recording information signals (1) are inputted to the input terminal 20 of an electrical signal generator, delay time td is determined for the input signals in delaying sections 21, and delayed signals are inputted to pulse width determining sections 22. Pulse width tp is determined at the sections 22, and the output is inputted to the drive sections 23, and adjusted to voltage proper to be applied to the piezo-electric elements of each nozzle at the sections 23. The delaying sections 21, the pulse width determining sections 22 and the drive sections 23 are formed in number such as twenty four in response to each nozzle, and different delay times td are given for every piezo-electric element. That is, when delay time in the nozzle 2 is td, delay times are 2td, 3td..., in the nozzles 3, 4.... The delay time is set so as to satisfy an inequality 23td+td<t0 lest the pulse of the last nozzle 24 should overlap on the next reference signal. |
