PURPOSE:To reduce a number of part items and simplify a manufacture process of a shroud, equipped with valves for efficiently guiding ram air to a radiator, by forming valve plates integrally with a main unit of the shroud through thin hinges. CONSTITUTION:A radiator shroud S is integrally formed by press molding with synthetic resin of polypropylene or the like and arranged so as to cover the rear side of a radiator 1. Plural valve openings 5 are formed at a face-to-face position to the radiator 1 in an area of this shroud S except a fan housing part 4a and open-close operated by valve plates 6. Here the valve plate 6 is integrally formed with an upper edge of the valve opening 5 through a thin hinge 10 to normally close the valve opening 5 further open the valve opening 5 by ram air pressure at running of a vehicle. In this way, the radiator shroud S can be easily manufactured from a less number of part items. |
