PURPOSE:To heighten the mean molecular weight of working fluid and promote the working speed and as well as eliminate the fear of the fire by a method wherein saccharic solution is employed as incombustible working fluid and graphite material is employed as electrode. CONSTITUTION:When work piece is machined by producing electric discharge phenomenon in the gap between the work piece and the electrode while supplying working fluid, saccharose solution, in which saccharose is dissolved in water, is employed as the working fluid and graphite material with low heat conductivity is employed as the electrode. Furthermore, 10% or higher of the concentration of saccharose solution is desirable. |
