PURPOSE:To provide the titled tough compsn. having excellent heat distortion resistance, coatability and adhesiveness, consisting of an olefin copolymer having carboxyl groups on its side chain or a metal ion-crosslinked copolymer thereof and a specified heat-resistant resin. CONSTITUTION:60-95pts.wt. copolymer (A) consisting of 95-98mol% of ethylene or a 3-8C alpha-olefin, 0.5-5mol% of an alpha,beta-ethylenically unsaturated carboxylic acid and 0-3mol% of an unsaturated carboxylate ester or ion-crosslinked copolymer (A) obtd. by neutralizing 10-70% of said unsaturated carboxylic acid component with a mono- or bivalent metallic ion, is kneaded with 40-5pts.wt. heat-resistant resin (B) selected from an ethylene/vinyl acetate copolymer having an ethylene content of 20-50mol% and a styrene copoymer contg. 1-30mol% of a diimide compd. of an alpha,beta-unsaturated dicarboxylic acid of the fomula (wherein R1-3 are each H, alkyl, alkenyl, cycloalkyl) at 150-300 deg.C. |
