PURPOSE:To perform operation of an engine in an optimum condition, by controlling an air valve and each feed device of quality improved gas and alcohol while supervising the reaction state of a quality improving device in accordance with an operating amount of control means, speed of the engine, feed pressure of quality improved gas and suction air flow amount. CONSTITUTION:Quality improved gas is jetted from a gas inlet 21 to an air feed passage 24 through a gas valve 22 and gas nozzle 23 and fed to an engine 25. At this time, a feed pressure sensor 26 for the quality improved gas, air flow sensor 28, operating amount sensor 32 of an accelerator pedal or the like, and engine speed sensor 33 are equipped, and those outputs are input to a controller 31. Then an air valve opening is calculated from quality improved gas pressure and the operating amount of the accelerator to control an air valve 29. Further both gas/fuel ratio and limit gas/fuel ratio are calculated by a load factor obtained from said operating amount and engine speed, in accordance with those arithmetic values, the gas valve 22 and alcohol injector 30 are controlled. |
