PURPOSE:To prevent the generation of burrs, bending and breaking, etc. of the end section of the sheet material by arranging a hold-down member into a clearance formed by a grinding member piece in the titled device grinding the thin sheet material such as a printed wiring substrate. It this case, since the nose section and end section of the substrate material P are pushed against the conveyor belt 1 for a fixed time by means of the rolls 7 as the hold-down members positioned in the clearances formed by the grinding member pieces 6 even during the time when the section is ground by means of the grinding members 6, the nose and end sections are not rolled in or jumped up through the revolution of the grinding member pieces 6, and the substrate material P is ground while it maintains the flat property. |
